19 Month Pictures

When Ronan was 18 months old, I wanted to take some new pictures of Ronan, but he was not too cooperative with the camera. In all of the pictures, he was crying and reaching to play with the camera. Not exactly what I had in mind. So, this week I tried again and finally got my 18 month now 19 month pictures.

Our little toddler.

Love those big brown eyes.

I think this one is my favorite.

I think this the only time he sat down the whole time.

Photographing a toddler is not easy, as he is constantly on the move!

" What's in here, mom?"

Airplane!

Love that dimple!

So sweet and innocent. Ha!

And of course because he did so well for Mommy, he got to play afterwards.

Onesie

Ronan has not worn a onesie in quite a while. I found this onesie in his drawer the other day that I had bought a long time ago. I thought it was fitting. Maybe he can wear it as pajamas or something this summer.

Playing with his elephant humidifier since he has had a cold. We named him Peanut and every night before we go to bed Ronan reminds us we need to fill up "Pea-neat"

Yard Work

Since the weather has been nice, the guys have been working hard to get the yard ready for the spring and summer.

Digging with the big shovel in our new garden (more on that later.)

Our Bradford Pear bloomed this week!!! Love this time of year!

Ronan's first encounter with a ladybug. Daddy had to rescue the poor little guy from being crunched between this eager little toddler's fingers.

Opening and closing the gate.

Go hug a tree. Spring is here! :)

18 Months

Before Ronan turns 19 months old, I should probably post his 18 month stats.

Weight: 26.4 pounds (55th percentile)
Height: 34 1/4 inches (95th percentile)

Here are some things about Ronan at 18 months old:

  • Ronan has become quite the talker. He is currently saying between 85-100 words and is able to communicate with us pretty well. Some new favorite words are truck, circle, shower, muffin -"fuffin," fork, house, and wagon.
  • Ronan has started potty training. He is able to tell us when he needs to go and will go sit on his potty and go.
  • He can walk up the stairs.
  • His favorite foods are hot dogs, pizza, spaghetti, and sausage. He is finally starting to warm up to chicken.
  • We have been working on weaning him off of bottles. He is down to one bottle at night before bed.
  • He will sleep for 12 hours straight at night with no naps during the day.
  • He loves to watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.
  • He loves to help us do things. He loves to help Ryan in the yard and to help me do things around the house.
  • He knows most animal sounds. His favorites are lion, frog, chicken, dog, cat, sheep, and tiger.
  • He can look at pictures of both of our families and say almost every one's name.
