Manly Stuff

Here is proof that Ronan does enjoy doing more masculine activities. On days when it is not too cold, Ronan loves to go play outside in the yard and in the cars with Ryan.

He carries around his broom and rake he got from Pops and Nana for Christmas.

He loves to wear Ryan's hat. He has his own hat that is adorable, but he will only wear Ryan's.

He loves his Daddy!

Of course, he has to stand in the chair.

After playing in the yard for a bit, he likes to go play in the cars and pretend he is driving.

"Hey Mom, move out of the way!"

So sweet and innocent. :)

Cabin Fever

The weather has been so cold and now rainy all week so Ronan has a severe case of cabin fever! We have tried to get out of the house at least once each day this week, but we are running out of places to go! So, today after we had already been to two places and it was only 2:00, we came home and found stuff to keep him occupied around the house.

We made a batch of oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. Ronan actually helped a lot. I would measure the ingredients and he would pour them in. Then I let him put some dough on the cookie sheets. While, he was touching the dough, he said "Ewwww...sticky!" Hehe...oh, definitely my child. :)

Stirring up the cookie dough!

Then to kill some more time, we vacuumed. Yes, vacuumed! Ronan has a slight obsession with vacuums. When we pull into the Target parking lot, Ronan starts saying "vac-cuum!, vac-cuum!" Therefore every time we go to Target, we must head down the vacuum aisle. He likes the Dysons a lot. As do I. :)

Such a good helper!

Now, Ryan would like for me to note that Ronan does do manly things like help Ryan in the yard or play with cars. I promised him I would post some masculine posts soon. :)

Eating Like a Big Boy

Ryan and I decided to let Ronan try eating at the table with us instead of eating with his tray. So far, he has done really well and it has decreased the amount of food that is thrown on the floor or to the dogs. He was pretty excited and I think he looks like such a big boy!

Learning New Things

Ronan is learning to say and do more things everyday. Here is a video of some things he has learned lately. Sorry, he is eating cookies while saying these things, but the only time I can get a picture or video of him these days is while he is in his high chair. It is the only time he is actually still. :)

A Little Taste From Home

Daddy brought us a special breakfast home on his way home from work. We both grew up eating Shipley donuts in Woodway and now we have one a few minutes from our house. Ronan got to try donut holes and a kolache. He approved!

Mmmm...he got chocolate and original.

Of course, he gobbled them all up!

And was quite happy about his breakfast.

One, Two, THREE!

Ronan has started counting. Of course, he learned this from jumping off of the couch where he counts and jumps on three. The child has no fear and is all boy!

Santa Claus

Santa Claus brought Ronan a new table. He got a Leapfrog laptop and some puzzles also so he likes to sit at his table and play with them.

Looking at his new toys from Santa Claus.

He really liked the table, but he was more excited when he found forks in his stocking. He held them up in the air and said "Oh Yeah!" I wish I had it on video, but I think this picture shows his excitement too!

Christmas 2010

I am finally getting around to posting about our Christmas. I have actually been putting it off because I knew there would be a ton of pictures which takes a long time, but here it is. :)

We had a wonderful Christmas! Ryan had to work on Christmas Eve so we headed to Waco bright and early on Christmas morning to be with both of our families. Here is how our day went:

Christmas with Loren's Family:

Ronan checking out his stocking at Grandpa and Mimi's.

Ronan and Hunter checking out the new toys in their matching pajamas.

My grandparents came all the way from Missouri to be with us on Christmas morning.

Ronan loves his new chair from Grandpa and Mimi!

Of course, Ronan had to check out Hunter's chair.

Then we headed over to Pop's and Nana's house for another Christmas morning with Ryan's family.

Nana read Ronan the Christmas story.

Ronan opening his Little People Wheelies toy from Pops and Nana which he loves!! He also got his bedding for his big boy room which Mommy really loves! :)

We got a family picture. (Thanks Jess, I stole the next three pics from you.)

Hanging out.

Then Ronan went outside to play with his new rake.
