Christmas Program Video

Here is the video of Ronan's Christmas program. Notice he keeps looking up at the stage. After the program, he kept talking about how next year he is going to stand on the stage.

Visiting Santa Claus

Ronan got to visit Santa Claus at the mall this year. He was so excited about going to talk to Santa and was very patient and waited in line for thirty minutes. When his turn finally came, he froze up and would not smile or talk to Santa. However, when we left, he kept talking about how he told Santa he wanted a blue jeep. Maybe he slipped him a note or something because their was no communication going on.

Christmas Program

Ronan started a Mother's Day Out program this fall. Before Christmas, they had a Christmas program. I was worried if Ronan would actually stand up there during the program or if he would see us and run, but he did a really great job! He stayed up there the whole time and even sang and danced a little (and even picked his nose.)

I have a video. I will post it next. Here are some pictures:

He got to wear sheep ears and they gave him a bell to shake.

They passed out glow sticks to be the candles for singing "Silent Night." Probably best with a bunch of toddlers. :)

Family picture...somebody was more interested in his glow stick. :)

A LOT of catching up...

Scroll down to read SEVERAL catch up posts. Sorry for the lack of updates. As you can see, we are expecting baby number two!! So basically ever since I became pregnant in August, I have been a little too exhausted to update the blog. My goal is to catch up with 2011 posts and then start new in 2012!

Halloween 2011

After going to the fair, Ronan decided that he wanted to be a cowboy for Halloween. Of course, we had to get a cowboy shirt, boots, a six shooter gun, and a cowboy hat.

Heart of Texas Fair & Rodeo

This past fall we also took Ronan to the Heart of Texas Fair and Rodeo. Ronan had a blast. He loves rides!!! He seriously asks daily to go back to the fair! Too bad he will have to wait until next year.

Here are some pictures:

Walking into the fair together. They love each other.

Petting a camel.

Hunter and Grandpa

Driving the tractors at the fair.

Watching the rodeo.

They would both clap for the cowboys.

Having a good time!

Of course, we have to ride the carousel!

My favorite picture of the night. This pretty much sums up how much fun they have together.

Ronan riding the motorcycles. I thought this was a little too advanced for him because it went pretty fast, but he insisted and loved it. He got on and yelled out "I'm ridin' a motorcycle!"

Fun at the Mall

This past fall, we took Ronan to the mall to ride the train and carousel. He LOVES the carousel and asks to go back quite often!

Baby Number 2

Since it has been since August (the beginning of my pregnancy) since I have updated, here is some long overdue information and pictures on baby number 2.

Here is our first sonogram picture of baby:

We found out at 16 weeks that baby number 2 is another BOY!!!! Ronan is going to have so much fun with him. Mama is a little nervous though. Haha :) Here is a funny sonogram picture from that day:

During the ultrasound, he was very proud to let everyone know that he was in fact a boy. That is his hand pointing at the proof. The doctors got a kick out of this. He has quite the sense of humor already. :)

I am currently 25 weeks pregnant! We FINALLY chose a name last week. His name will be Jackson Jay Nichols. We will call him "Jack."

Ronan is so excited! He keeps telling us all the things he is going to do with his baby brother. He wants to take him to the fair, let him play with his trucks, feed him milk and hold him.

A Little Extra Birthday Present

At Ronan's birthday party, Ronan had a very special birthday present to open in front of the family. He got a t shirt that says "Big Brother!!!!" Baby number 2 is due April 19th! We are all so very excited!!

Here are some reaction pictures. I didn't get as many as I wanted to. :(

Ronan's 2nd Birthday Party

For Ronan's 2nd birthday party, we wanted to keep it small so we just had both of our families over. We had a Curious George themed party because Ronan loves the TV show and he also reminds us a lot of Curious George.

Here are some pictures from the party:
