Today Ronan is one month old! Man this month has flown by! On Friday, Ronan went for his one month check up. The doctor said that Ronan looks great! He is gaining weight perfectly. He had his second Hepatitis vaccination and was not too happy about that. It made Mommy very sad, but he got a little tiny Snoopy band aid when they were finished and we both felt better. :) It was so cute. Here are some things about Ronan at one month:
- Ronan weighs 9 pounds 6 ounces (50th percentile)
- He is 22 inches long (55th percentile)
- His head circumfrence is 37 centimeters (25th percentile)
- He still is wearing newborn clothes and diapers. The 0-3 month clothes are too wide and baggy on him still. I am hoping maybe next week he can start to wear some of them.
- He will still sleep for about 4-5 hours in the night. Whoo!
- He enjoys toys with music and lights.
- When you read him a book, he will look at the pictures.
- He loves to be burped. It is his favorite position so he can be up high and look around over your shoulder.
- He likes to watch things that move.
- He is beginning to smile a lot more. The doctor said he should begin to do it even more often in the next 2 weeks.
This morning we took some pictures of Ronan to mark his one month old birthday! As you can see from the picture above, he was not too thrilled about it. We did manage to catch a few good moments.

"Enough with the pictures already!"This month with Ronan has been absolutely wonderful! He makes us laugh everyday. We both feel so blessed and love him so much!
that first picture is hilarious! i love the little stuffed animals he is sitting beside:) the caterpillar is very cool! he is such a great mix of the both of you! call me soon, i want to hear how things are going:) we miss y'all!!
