A Little Transformation

We have this old chest of drawers and nightstand that my grandfather gave to me before I got married. They are pretty old and were in need of an update so Ryan and I transformed both of them this week.We sanded them down, painted them and added new hardware. I did the sanding (that is quite the chore!!!) and Ryan painted it for me. We are happy with how they turned out.


Now I wish I had a before picture, but I realized about half way through the several hours of sanding that I forgot to take one. I know I have one somewhere on one of our older computers, but it's late. Maybe I'll find it tomorrow. :)

We have the chest in our guest bedroom.



We already had a nightstand in our guest bedroom that we like so we are using the nightstand as another end table in the living room.
