Two Weeks Old

Today Ronan is two weeks old. He went to the doctor today for his two week check up. Here are some things about Ronan at two weeks old.

• He weighs 8 pounds 7 ounces and was 21 inches long. He is growing so fast! :(
• He has become a lot more alert the past few days.
• He sleeps great throughout the night. He eats at about 12:30 - 1:00 when we go to bed and sleeps straight until 5:30 to eat and then goes right back to sleep until about 8:00. We got lucky! :)
• He can hold his head up.
• He still has not lost his umbilical cord yet, but the doctor said it looked like it should come off any day now.
• He makes a cute little piggy snorting noise when he is hungry and wants to eat.
• He will make eye contact with you.
• He will smile at you and has little dimples.
• He loves to cuddle. He will just curl up in a little ball on your chest. I love it!
• He took a bottle from Daddy today without spitting up! Yay!

Happy Two Week Birthday Ronan! We love you very much!

We put him on his activity mat for the first time and he loved it. He loved looking at the lights and looking in the mirror. Here are some pictures.
